Wears Valley Ranch Fall Fund-raising Dinner

Story by: Everett Womack   |   October 5, 2009   |   Current News   |   No Comments

wears-valley-ranch-logoA fund-raising dinner is planned for Wears Valley Ranch on Thursday evening, November 19th at the Calhoun’s Banquet Hall in Gatlinburg, TN. For those of you who want to know more about Wears Valley Ranch, this is your opportunity. Russ Bivens of Channel 10 has graciously agreed to emcee the evening, and Kenny Evans will entertain us with a few songs. But the highlight of the evening will be when one of our May graduates shares her incredible story with you about why she came from Murphy, N.C. to live at the Ranch at age 13 and how the Ranch made such a difference in her life. Our Executive Director, Jim Wood, will give a brief history and update of Wears Valley Ranch, and you will have the opportunity to meet Ranch staff as well as children for whom Wears Valley Ranch is home.

The program will start promptly at 7pm and end promptly at 9pm. We have a limited number of spaces still available and we invite you to come as our guest with no obligation. Please respond by email to Everett Womack (or by telephone to Becky Williamson, 865-429-7101) not later than October 16th if you would like to attend. If you are interested in sponsoring and inviting a table of 8 for this dinner, we ask that you donate $400 to help offset the cost of the evening. Checks for tables should be made payable to Wears Valley Ranch and mailed to the attention of Everett Womack, Wears Valley Ranch, 3601 Lyon Springs Rd., Sevierville, TN 37862 and noted, “Table Sponsor”. Please contact Everett Womack also if you would like to donate any goods or services for the silent auction that will be held during the program.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of this opportunity to learn more about how Wears Valley Ranch is providing a home for children, from families in crisis, who need a safe, secure, loving place to call home.
