December 1, 2009 – The City and MPC departments will hold a Fort Sanders Long-Range Planning Meeting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 3rd at the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy.
Staff members from the City of Knoxville’s Department of Policy & Communications and from the Metropolitan Planning Commission will moderate the meetings which involve stakeholders in the Fort Sanders area.
This public meeting is part of a regular series of meetings that have looked at prior planning efforts for the Fort Sanders area and are determining the next steps that need to be taken in developing plans to benefit the community. This will be the final meeting in this series of meetings.
Parking is available on street within the neighborhood or at the University’s Public Parking Garage on Phillip Fulmer Way.
