January 11, 2010 – City of Knoxville offices will be closed on Monday, January 18th, for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Waste Connections, the city’s household garbage collector, will run its normal schedule on Monday, January 18th.

Downtown trash collection will pick up garbage on its regular schedule on Monday, January 18th.

The city’s recycling centers will be open on Monday.

The city’s Solid Waste Management Facility, located at 1033 Elm Street, will be closed Saturday, January 16th and Monday, January 18th for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
