We recently (7/12/10) ate two rib plates with green beans and baked potato salad at Smokin’ Ed’s during our long weekend in Pigeon Forge. So impressed I’m leaving reviews everywhere that mentions Smokin’ Ed’s at this location. Absolutely the best meal we found in Pigeon Forge and also the cheapest, and the best BBQ ribs we ever have eaten anywhere ever. The place isn’t fancy. It’s small with only a couple tables. Ed himself served us. The portions are very generous. Great place to get take out for a large family or a bunch of hungry friends. Ten stars out of ten for a truly memorable meal. I’ll be driving back from NC just for more Smokin’ Ed’s BBQ.
Smokin’ Ed’s BBQ was the very best place we ate at during our fall break visit to Pigeon Forge last week. The food, the prices and people had us going back for more not once, but two times during our 4 day visit. YES, it is really THAT good. Don’t miss out on this spot. It is just off the main drag and very easy to find. If you like bbq you will be very glad you found it!
