May 3, 2010 – The City of Knoxville is hosting a public meeting on the status of the ongoing Gay Street Streetscapes project at 5:30 p.m.on Monday, May 10 at Emporium Building, 100 S. Gay Street. This is part of a series of meetings held, more or less, quarterly to discuss the project.

There will be an update on the progress of construction activities on the 100 and 200 blocks of Gay Street as well as a discussion of various issues with residents and business owners about upcoming work.
