Jackson Ave. and Gay Street Intersection to Reopen

Road WorkJune 9, 2010 – The intersection of Jackson Avenue and Gay Street (adjoining the Gay Street Viaduct) will be reopened later today after being closed since mid-May for utility construction.

The work was part of the ongoing Gay Street Streetscapes Project on the 100 and 200 blocks of Gay Street which includes the replacement of the street and both sidewalks in addition to utility and other improvements.

It is scheduled to be completed in August.
