LeConte Sports Medicine is hosting a symposium for current high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in athletic training, sports medicine, or any related healthcare position serving the athletic population.

The program will run from 9 a.m. ˆ 4:30 p.m., and be held in the classrooms at LeConte Medical Center on Middle Creek Road in Sevierville. Topics that will be covered during the day-long event include CPR, first aid, athletic training student aide programs, equipment fitting, and presentations by local emergency medical services. Lunch will be provided.
