Home Federal Bank President Dale Keasling (right) congratulates scholarship recipient and UT junior Ann Catherine Nave of Alcoa at the recent Home Federal Bank Scholarship Endowment luncheon at the Haslam Business Administration Building. The bank presented a total of more than $5,000 in scholarships to seven UT students from East Tennessee.

Home Federal Bank recently awarded over $5,000 in scholarships to Ann Catherine Nave of Gatlinburg and six other local students as part of its annual scholarship program at the University of Tennessee College of Business Administration.

“We’re proud to be able to help these students as they prepare for their careers ahead,” said Home Federal Bank President Dale Keasling. “The education they are receiving now will soon benefit the entire business community.”

The bank has provided over $150,000 in scholarships to UT students since 1995.

The following students received 2010 Home Federal Bank of Tennessee scholarships:

  • Becky Colburn of Oak Ridge, a sophomore studying marketing, logistics and international business;
  • William Coulter of West Knoxville, a sophomore in pre-business;
  • Jamie Goldberger of Alcoa, a junior studying marketing and international business;
  • Tyler Howard of West Knoxville, a junior studying economics and international business;
  • R.J. Lusk of Oak Ridge, a junior studying logistics and international business;
  • Ann Catherine Nave of Gatlinburg, a junior studying finance and international business; and
  • Hunter Ripley of Oak Ridge, a junior studying logistics and international business.

“Home Federal is proud to support the hard work and effort these bright students put into their education,” said Keasling. “We wish them the best and anticipate their great success.”
