Chad Branton, Art Director for the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce / Convention & Visitors Bureau, is featured in this month’s nationally published issue of Photoshop magazine. A photo that he conceptualized and shot for the City of Sevierville’s 2010 tourism ad campaign was selected as an Editor’s Choice Image from more than 850 submitted images by the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, a global organization with more than 70,000 members. Through that exposure, three images that he shot for the same “Visit Sevierville” series were selected and published in the March issue of Photoshop magazine.
In addition, Branton’s work has recently earned a Gold award in the Elements of Advertising category for Digitally Enhanced Photography at Knoxville’s 46th Annual ADDY gala. That same work will now be entered into the American Advertising Federation’s Regional ADDY competition.
Brenda McCroskey, CEO of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce / Convention & Visitors Bureau says, “The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce is fortunate to have someone as creatively talented as Chad on staff. I am so pleased that he is receiving this recognition for his work. I am proud of him, both for his accomplishments and for the professional manner in which he represents our organization.”
“I’m just blessed to get to come to work each day in Sevierville and do what I enjoy doing,” says Branton who has been part of the team at the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce / Convention & Visitors Bureau for 12 years.
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce / Convention & Visitors Bureau is the marketing arm of the City of Sevierville and creates and implements the city’s tourism advertising and promotional campaigns.
