LeConte Medical Center places sixth
Soliant Health, a leading specialty healthcare staffing provider and part of Adecco Group, is proud to announce that LeConte Medical Center of Sevierville, Tennessee, placed sixth in America’s Most Beautiful Hospital contest by Soliant.com visitors. Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center of Midlothian, Virginia was named America’s Most Beautiful Hospital.
Before the contest began nominations were submitted, and a panel of judges narrowed the over 250 nominations into their Top 50 list. The contest, which is in its third year, then turned this year’s choice over to America and received almost 70,000 votes, choosing the hospital they thought was most beautiful.
“There’s no question that a hospital like Bon Secours St. Francis and the others in the Top 20 draw attention to the importance of a hospital’s atmosphere,” said David Alexander, president of Soliant Health. “When a hospital is designed with patient and staff needs in mind, the healing process can take place with improved morale and efficiency for staff members.”
While Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center came away as the 2011 winner, there was stiff competition from a number of other amazing hospitals. The top twenty list was rounded out by:
