Ten Thousand Villages in Pigeon Forge is pleased to announce that our Director of Public Relations, Doug Dirks will visit on Tuesday, July 19, from 11 am until 1 pm.
Mr. Dirks, master artisan storyteller, will be on hand to educate members of the local community and our customers about the importance behind fair trade, and the significant impact of fair trade in developing countries. He will also share experiences from his most recent learning tour of Cambodia and Laos as well as stories from artisan groups he has worked with over his twenty years career at Ten Thousand Villages.
This is a FREE event, light refreshements will be served.
