On August 25, 2011 the Lumberjack Feud opened the doors for the first time for it’s VIP Grand Opening to benefit the Helen Ross McNabb Center. With the help of the local community and generous sponsors such as Citadel Construction, Quality Machine and Welding Co. Inc., and the Cherokee Group, Lumberjack Feud CEO Rob Scheer presented Helen Ross McNabb CEO Andy Black with a check for $45,000.00. All monies raised will stay in Sevier County and be used for the new Helen Ross McNabb Center treatment facility on Dolly Parton Parkway.
This sold out show was an overall success! In fact, the VIP reception was such a hit that it was extended into the arena for additional entertainment by Bruce and Brandy Pearl! Then Kris Tatum, the mastermind behind the evening and Operations Manager for Citadel Construction, opened the show with a few words of recognition for the evening’s sponsors, Rob Scheer, and a special thank you to Al Blanton for his continuous work for Sevier County. After the presentation of donated funds to the Helen Ross McNabb Center, the Lumberjack Feud performed it’s first production in front of over 900 guests.
The Lumberjack Feud is excited to be providing Pigeon Forge action-packed shows seven days a week for the remainder of the year. For more information about the Lumberjack Feud, to purchase tickets, and to find out about local discounts, click here.
