SEVIERVILLE’S 2012 HARVEST FEST DECORATING CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Sevierville (TN) – The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the 2012 Sevierville Harvest Fest Decorating contest today, with eight businesses claiming awards of the twenty-eight judged entries.
The winners were:
1st Place – Diamond Award: Oak Haven Resort
2nd Place – Emerald Award: Robert A. Tino Gallery
3rd Place – Pearl Award: Houser Residence (Victoria Rose)
4th Place – Ruby Award: Clarion Inn Willow River
5th Place – Platinum Award: The Spa at Oak Haven
6th Place – Gold Award: Sevier Farmer’s Co-Op
7th Place – Silver Award: Fairfield Inn Five Oaks
8th Place – Bronze Award: River Walk Apartments
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Beautification Awards Committee, which includes Chairwoman Jeannie Allen, Joe Fall, Eric Schreiner and Lauren Chesney, coordinated the contest and presented the awards during a morning ceremony at the Sevierville Chamber administrative offices.
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Special Projects Facilitator Carroll McMahan organized Sevierville’s Harvest Fest decorating contest and says, “We were very pleased to see the increase in participation this year. Each and every entry really adds something special to this area’s Harvest Fest celebration.”
Entries were judged based on creativity, use of plants and foliage, use of fall color and overall visual appeal.
