1155177_bibleKNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A new Bible reference web site has just been launched. Called Megiddo Bible Reference the web site has the following versions: King James Version, American Standard Version, Noah Webster Bible, Young’s Literal Translation, Darby Bible, World English Bible, Bible in Basic English, and Modern King James Version.

The new web site has got a quick lookup by book, chapter, and verse, a search box where users can search for terms, and a browse feature where users can peruse the Bible of their choice by book and chapter.

What makes this web site unique is that it has a “parallel Bible feature.” The parallel Bible feature lets users see any five of any of the eight Bibles contained in the database for the web site side-by-side.

Also, this Bible reference web site has the words of Jesus Christ in red.

“We’re really proud of this new web site.” says publisher Pete Norris. “It’s one of only a few Bible reference web sites that I know of that has the words of Jesus Christ in red. Also, it’s the only web site I know of that will let you compare Bibles side-by-side.”

The Megiddo Bible Reference web site also has a summary of the laws of the Bible. There are 332 laws that are included. The laws are categorized under fourteen main headings. Those headings are as follows:

1). Citizenship Under the Theocracy.
2). Criminal Laws.
3). Estates, Descent, and Distribution Laws.
4). Forms of Government.
5). Laws Concerning Interest and Loans.
6). Laws of Sanitation and Cleanliness,
7). Laws of Theocracy.
8). Laws Pertaining to Animals.
9). Laws Pertaining to Contracts.
10). Laws Pertaining to Domestic Relations.
11). Laws Pertaining to Legal Procedure.
12). Religious Laws.
13). Social Security and Welfare Laws.
14). Tort Laws.

Norris says that they may also add things like Bible commentaries or Bible encyclopedias and dictionaries sometime in the future.
