October 14, 2009 – Blount Mansion presents Ghosts and Ghouls walking tour from Oct. 26-30 at 7 p.m.

Costumed guides will lead groups by lantern light through downtown streets to the places where tales of bravery, murder and intrigue originally took place.

Learn about the supernatural manifestations that lurk beneath the peaceful facade of downtown Knoxville.. Discover the mystery of the Gay Street Bridge, learn about East Tennessees own Dr. Frankenstein and the legend of the Wampus Cat!

Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for kids 12 and under.

Tours begin at the Blount Mansion Visitors Center. 200 W. Hill Ave. Free parking!
