Knoxville, Tenn.—Treat your beloved to a romantic evening among the penguins at the most unique Valentine’s Day event in Knoxville; “Jungle Love”, an after-hours adults-only event at Knoxville Zoo takes place on Saturday, February 13, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Knoxville Zoo.
The evening gets started with a happy hour at Penguin Rock, where you and your sweetheart will meet Gypsy penguin, the zoo’s resident home wrecker, and hear about the dramatic romantic entanglements she has stirred up among the zoo’s flock of penguins. Then it’s off to the Pilot Traveling Exhibit Building for heavy hors d’oeuvres, another round of beverages and the evening’s feature event, “The Mating Game: Who’s In Charge”, an uproarious presentation about love in the animal world given by Kevin Hils, Knoxville Zoo’s Director of Education.
Seating for “Jungle Love” is limited, and advanced reservations are required. Cost to attend is $35 per person, and includes beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. Guests must be 18 and over to attend and a valid photo ID is required.
