On October 2nd and 3rd you will be able to take your family back to a simpler time when the farm was the center of family. It was a place where you made what you needed and learned valuable life lessons. On Sunset View Farm, home to the Robert A. Tino Smoky Mountain Homecoming, Robert invites you to spend the weekend on the farm with your family experiencing and celebrating our Appalachian heritage. Meet regional craftsmen and women, dressed in period attire, who are passionate about sustaining and preserving the ancient arts and crafts of our heritage. Along with area crafts and art, the old time sound of bluegrass will be drifting through the crisp fall air from Jimbo Whaley and Greenbrier and The South of the River Boys. In between sets of music your family can sit under a shade tree enjoy a wholesome BBQ meal and listen to a stor
y or two from area storytellers.
In addition to the festivities Robert Tino will be debuting a very special Limited Edition release River Ride and its companion piece Skipping Stones benefiting East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. In honor of children – who all deserve a happy, healthy, carefree childhood – Robert continues his long tradition of dedicating a portion of all proceeds of River Ride to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital to support its caring vision – Leading the Way to Healthy Children.
