SeviervilleSevierville will be the first to kick off Smoky Mountain Winterfest with the annual Music, Lights & Magic event on November 8 at the Sevierville Municipal Complex. This completely free event annually draws around 6,000 spectators who enjoy entertainment, free food, kids’ games, fireworks and plenty of great surprises. The event runs from 3-8pm at the Sevierville Municipal Complex located at 110 Gary Wade Blvd. in Sevierville.

This year’s Music, Lights & Magic event will once again include new elements, such as Santa’s Workshop where little elves can create ornaments and crafts, decorate cookies and have their faces painted. As always, crowd favorites such as synchronized lighting displays, hot chocolate, apple cider and fireworks will be back for the 2010 Winterfest Kick Off. Other event highlights include photo opportunities with the first Santa Claus of the season, carnival games for the kids and more inflatable bounce attractions than ever before! Sevierville city services will also provide fun children’s activities such as Patches & Pumper (a miniature fire truck driven by a remote controlled Dalmatian provided by the Sevierville Fire Department), an Emergency Response Team display and free cable style gun locks provided by the Sevierville Police Department. The Sevierville Golf Club will operate a chipping course. Bloomie the Pig and other area mascots will also make appearances and participate in a special “Mascot Dance Off” at the end of the night.

Currently scheduled entertainment will include Elizabeth Williams School of Dance, Donna’s Majorettes, The Miracle Theater, Cirque de Chine and more! Plus there will be a special surprise at the end of the evening just before the lighting ceremony and fireworks display.

Complete Show Schedule:
4pm – Elizabeth Williams School of Dance
