One lucky Auto Show enthusiast will win $25,000 toward the purchase of a new car

News Sentinal Auto ShowCar enthusiasts will be able to check out the newest and most exciting vehicles during the 2011 News Sentinel Auto Show from Feb. 25-27 at the Knoxville Convention Center. With more than 70 dealerships and 19 manufacturers under one roof exhibiting the latest makes and models of cars, trucks and SUVs, the Auto Show is a no-pressure, one-stop-shopping approach to finding your next vehicle.

“The News Sentinel Auto Show is a unique opportunity for people from across East Tennessee to experience car shopping in a personal, interactive way,” said Patrick Birmingham, president and publisher of the Knoxville News Sentinel. “Whether you’re a car enthusiast, in the market to purchase a new vehicle or simply a family spending some quality time together, the Auto Show is the one place to get an up-close look at a variety of classic, exotic, environmentally friendly and cutting-edge vehicles.”

Families and people of all ages will enjoy the exclusive look at the 2011 Auto Show featured vehicles, including:

  • The 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. Branded as a “super coupe,” the CTS-V packs a powerful punch. With bold, angled styling, the sport coupe effortlessly combines high performance and luxury.
  • The 2012 Buick Verano. This small, compact sedan from Buick has a streamlined appearance with touch of luxury in the interior. Packed with all the modern amenities, it also features a new radio that interfaces with apps like Pandora and Stitcher.
  • The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro convertible. This convertible takes the top down on an American classic, the Chevrolet Camaro. This fun, sporty model has all the great features of its predecessor and more to ensure the Camaro won’t be leaving American roads any time soon.
  • The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. The Cruze features a luxurious, quiet interior with a sleek design and a host of technological features including Bluetooth capabilities and OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation.
  • The 2011 Chevrolet Volt. This eco-friendly hybrid offers a guilt-free, affordable commute. Winner of the Green Car Journal’s 2011 Green Car of the Year, most people can commute to work for less than $1.50 per day, and with more than 375 miles between fuelings, you can sit back and enjoy the drive.
  • The 2011 GMC Acadia Denali. A mid-size cross-over vehicle, the GMC Acadia Denali has a roomy interior and powerful towing capacity with a touch of luxury.
  • The 2011 Toyota Sienne Swagger Wagon Supreme. Capitalizing on the success of the all-new 2011 Sienna SE and the popularity of the YouTube Swagger Wagon video that has attracted over seven million views, Toyota wanted to further re-examine the role of the minivan and push even harder against the traditional boundaries of the minivan identity. So, together with B.A.D. Company, Toyota has created the Sienna Swagger Wagon Supreme, which after premiering at the 2010 SEMA show will be making its Knoxville debut at the 2011 News Sentinel Auto Show.
  • The 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The limited production 2012 Mustang Boss 302 is set to become the quickest, best-handling straight-production Mustang ever offered by Ford, based on the world-class foundation provided by the 2011 Mustang GT.

  1. If you are supposed to purchase tickets prior to the autoshow, where is the button to click on to do so? We are senior citizens and would like to prepurchase tickets?

  2. Hello Linda,
The News sentinel website was supposed to have the tickets available for pre-show purchase, however the only information we are able to find is that you may purchase tickets at the gate when you get there. Sorry for the confusion… Here is the ticket information from the auto show’s website.
