The 17th annual Women Today is proud to welcome Chuck Hughes, star of Cooking Channel’s “Chuck’s Day Off,” and Jeffrey Saad of “The United Tastes of America” to the Knoxville Convention Center March 4-6 on the Food City Cooking School stage.

Both chefs will provide cooking demonstrations to showcase their unique flair for the culinary arts. Hughes will appear twice on Friday, March 4, from 12:15-1 p.m. and 3-3:45 p.m., and on Saturday, March 5, from 11:20-12:05 p.m. Saad will appear on Saturday from 2:05-2:55 p.m. and twice on Sunday, March 6, from 1:30-2:10 p.m. and 3:10-3:50 p.m. Following their demonstrations, Hughes and Saad will be available for meet-and-greet sessions with fans.

Hughes is the charismatic co-owner of Montreal’s Garde Manger and host of “Chuck’s Day Off,” a recent addition to the Cooking Channel’s nightly lineup. He has a passion for simple, well-made food and emphasizes the importance of buying and cooking locally. Hughes uses this philosophy to put a zesty spin on comfort food and turns old classics into modern favorites.

Saad is the host of the Cooking Channel’s “The United Tastes of America.” On the show, he shares with viewers how to blend exotic spices and flavors with traditional American fare to create dishes that excite the senses. Saad was the runner-up on Season 5 of “The Next Food Network Star” and later hosted “The Spice Smuggler” on FoodNetwork.com. He is currently the national spokesperson for the Incredible Edible Egg.

The Cooking Channel, owned by Scripps Networks, debuted on May 31, 2010, and features many Food Network personalities like Emeril Lagasse and Giada De Laurentis and old favorites like shows “Julia Child” and “Two Fat Ladies.”

Women Today has everything a woman is looking for in one location. From great shopping, fashion shows and home décor to information on women’s health and fitness, this event guarantees a fun weekend with friends. Women Today will take place March 4-6 at the Knoxville Convention Center.
