The Sevier County Lodging Alliance proudly presents the 4th Annual Stars of the Industry Awards. There will be several categories in which you will be able to nominate someone in our industry locally to receive one of these prestigious awards.
The winners at our local level will move on to compete against other cities at the state level in the TN Hotel and Lodging Associations Stars on the Industry Awards. State level winners will then move on to compete nationally.
We have an array of wonderful properties, managers, employees, and vendors throughout all four of our lodging associations and we would to like to honor and showcase the Stars of Sevier County Hospitality. With that in mind, we are requesting that each lodging association submit a total of three nominations per category from their membership to the Sevier County Lodging Association. That will allow us to have an assortment of choices.
We will have a panel of several judges from throughout Sevier County. We have asked several well respected members of our industry to help with the judging so that it can be as fairly judged and inclusive as possible.
We are using the criteria and point system from the state level so that Sevier County can compete at the state and national levels. The nomination forms and award descriptions will be coming to you shortly in the mail and via email. Submissions must be returned on or before August 1st to be included in this event.
Winners will be formerly announced at an Awards Luncheon on a date to be announced, Details will soon follow about this joint awards banquet luncheon.
The most important thing that we could ask is that you nominate someone and that you participate to make this a tremendous showing from Sevier County. Remember, you can nominate anyone in the hospitality/lodging industry, including your own employees.
