The 15th annual Sevier County Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 10am to 4:30pm at the Holiday Inn Convention Center located at 3230 Parkway in Pigeon Forge. (Just past traffic light #6) We are excited about the businesses that will be there and the opportunities for employment that will be provided for the people of Sevier County.
Representatives from the following Sevier County companies will be on hand to talk with job seekers about potential employment: Applewood Farmhouse, AtWork Personnel, Blalock, Books-A-Million, Covenant Health, Cracker Barrel, Diverse Concepts (Mellow Mushroom, Johnny Carino’s, Bullfish Grill, Blue Moose Burgers & Wings),Dollywood, Fee Hedrick, Firehouse Subs, Foxfire Mountain Adventures, Gatlinburg Falls, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn of Pigeon Forge, Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Lumberjack Feud, MasterCorp, Mountain Valley Winery, Music Road Hotel, Ober Gatlinburg, Old Mill, LLC, Park Vista, Pigeon Forge Care & Rehab, Pigeon Forge Gem Mine, Ripley Entertainment, City of Sevierville/Sevierville Golf Club, Smoky Mountain Resorts, Stokely Hospitality, The Track, Texas Roadhouse (Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge), Three Bears General Store, Three Bears Food Service, U S Cellular, Westgate Resorts, Wyndham Vacation, Wilderness at the Smokies, and WonderWorks. Walters State Community College, Lincoln Memorial University, King
College and the Army National Guard will also be on hand. Job openings are available in over 70 job categories. Some are full-time positions, some are part-time and some summer employment.
Job Seekers are enouraged to bring a resume with them. For those that do not have a resume, they can visit the website www.seviercountyjobs.org to fill out an application on-line, print it and bring it to the Job Fair with them.. Sevier County businesses are also encouraged to use this web site to post job openings.
Members of the Smoky Mountains Human Resource Association will be available during the day to
answer questions about Creating Your Resume, How to Dress for Success, Tips on Interviewing, and to
share helpful hints to assist job seekers in getting a job.
The Sevier County Job Fair is hosted by the Sevier County Economic Development Council, Sevier
County, City of Gatlinburg, City of Pigeon Forge and the City of Sevierville.
