Douglas Cooperative, Inc. a local nonprofit agency serving people with disabilities is having a summer carnival fundraiser on July 28th at 1101 Wagner Drive (close to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Airport) from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. All proceeds go directly to provide services to individuals with intellectual and other disabilities served by DCI. All contributions are tax deductible. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Admission cost includes live entertainment from local artists and free games for everyone.
Face painting and concessions will also be available on site.
A cake/baked goods auction will be held inside the facility where people have the opportunity to cool down and also participate in a silent auction with items such as: 2 night cabin stay, 2 nights at Mountain Heritage Inn in Gatlinburg, art work by local artists and more.
