The Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival is to be an annual event held for three to ten days in the last two weeks of August in Gatlinburg, TN to “Celebrate our Appalachian Musical Roots”.
The Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival is a platform for songwriters to perform their
original songs and attend workshops to help learn the craft of songwriting as well as guidance on ”how” to get the songs published.
The Songwriter / Artist not only performs but tells you the story behind the song. You will recognize many of the “hit” songs presented by the songwriters. It is one of the most entertaining shows you will ever see.
The mission of The Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival is to promote songwriters and
