tornadoDollywood’s first premium adventure gets you flying! Soar like an eagle over Dollywood and the Smokies on the nation’s first multi-zipline theme park experience.

Each SkyZip™ zipline crossing offers a distinctive point-of-view as you venture from point to point on an elevated and inclined wire high above the ground. Based upon your pace, your entire tour includes five zipline crossings and can take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.

FLYING SQUIRREL BLUFF
Before taking to the skies, your adventure begins with a safety briefing, readying you for the journey ahead. Adventure
Guides get you outfitted for the tour ahead, securing harnesses and clipping you onto the cable.

Not ready to make the big leap just yet? No problem. Earn your zipline wings on the 100-foot Flying Squirrel Bluff practice line jump. Yes, you can do it! It’s just eleven feet off the ground.

BLACK BEAR DROP
After your warm up, your SkyZip adventure begins with a short hike up the hill to the Black Bear Drop starting point. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you fly nearly 700 feet from point to point, flying directly over Dollywood’s newest area, Wilderness Pass.

RED FOX RUN
Take a moment to catch your breath and enjoy a break at the rest area located just off the Dollywood Express train loop. When you’re ready to take flight again, the Red Fox Run zips you through an area of undisturbed land behind the famed Tennessee Tornado rollercoaster. Take in the Smoky Mountain beauty as you fly 600 feet through and above the trees before landing.

BROOK TROUT GORGE
After landing at the Brook Trout Gorge station, trek 200 feet up the mountainside where you’ll cross a lush chasm on the 100-foot swinging rope bridge.

COUGAR PLUNGE
After traversing the swinging bridge, you’re less than 100 feet from embarking on Cougar Plunge, a 600-foot journey above the treetops. You’ll enjoy endless views of Dollywood’s natural area and wildlife. Upon landing, your scenic nature walk begins. As you crest the mountain’s peak, you get a rare perspective of the Tennessee Tornado roller coaster. The 300-foot nature walk takes you to the most far-reaching Dollywood border where the final takeoff platform is located.

BALD EAGLE SWOOP
The longest and last flight of your adventure, measuring 1,000 feet in length, is Bald Eagle Swoop. It begins amid the wooded trees and soon reveals a breathtaking view of Craftsmen’s Valley. You’ll soar above the Blazing Fury before returning to your starting point above Wilderness Pass.

Upon landing, you’ll hike the last walking leg of the journey to “gear down.” After removing your gear, you’ll have the chance to relive your adventure with the purchase of a specialized personal photo from Kodak.
