Bloomin’ Barbeque & Bluegrass is a Tennessee State Championship Barbeque Competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society that draws the top cook teams and 65+ judges from all across the United States. In addition to barbeque, this event also showcases artists and crafters demonstrating their skills and selling their wares, a fun Kids’ Zone and the “Mountain Soul Vocal Competition” honoring the songwriting of Dolly Parton.

The BBQ Button Wearing Campaign is a Haas & Wilkerson International Festival and Events Association Pinnacle Award Winning program that encourages the community to become involved in the promotion of Bloomin’ Barbeque & Bluegrass.
How it works: BBQ Button Wearing Campaign Pig Bank Sponsors will have their logo included in four (4) newspaper ads which will appear once a week during the 4 weeks prior to Bloomin’ Barbeque & Bluegrass. In addition, a total of $3000 (the total of the sponsorship dollars provided)will be given away to people who are caught wearing their Bloomin’ BBQ & Bluegrass button by the “Pig Patrol”.
