Sevierville (TN) – Linda Linder, with Fee/Hedrick Entertainment Group, and Dr. Andrea Wilson, with The Tomb Adventure, earned the March and April Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards, respectively. Linder has worked with Fee Hedrick Entertainment Group in sales and marketing for seven years, while Dr. Wilson has worked as the sales and marketing manager at The Tomb Adventure for five months.
“The Sevierville Chamber is a great place to learn, and I’ve learned a lot that I take back to my company. It’s a great resource and and a bonding between the members I really like,” says Linder. “It’s more than just business. Relationships are built too as our businesses work together.” Wilson echoes those statements, saying, “I appreciate all that the Sevierville Chamber does. Even though it’s the Sevierville Chamber, they are great for all businesses in Sevier County.”
As a thank you for her dedication, Linder received $100 cash from Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini Golf. Wilson received a $100 gift card from the International Gift Exposition of the Smokies. Both ladies received a plaque courtesy of Sign Master.
“Both ladies see the benefit of Chamber membership and actively encourage businesses to join the Sevierville Chamber,” says Sevierville Chamber membership coordinator Jim McGill.
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are based on points accumulated monthly from attending Chamber functions and volunteering as well as bringing inactive members and potential new members to Chamber events. Monthly points will go towards determining the Chamber Friend of the Year Award recipient.
The next Chamber Friendship Award will be presented during Coffee Talk on June 19, 2012, hosted by Wilderness at the Smokies. Coffee Talk begins at 8am at the Sevierville Civic Center. Guests are welcome to attend and learn more about the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce. For more information, contact Jim McGill at (865) 453-6411.
