Puree the oil and all the ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Arrange the salmon fillets on a platter or small pan. Pour the marinade over the fish, turning to coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the grill. Cook the salmon pieces carefully on the grill for about 4 minutes per side. Serve with rice or roasted potatoes and grilled corn.
