Country Star Trace Adkins to Perform National Anthem at Dollar General 300; Free ticket promotion runs through Oct. 10 in Charlotte and surrounding areas
Goodlettsville, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2009) – The NASCAR Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 on Friday, Oct. 16, will start with a memorable performance of the national anthem by country music star Trace Adkins.
Adkins will perform live on the pre-race stage before the engines start roaring at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Dollar General is also offering Charlotte-area race fans the opportunity to get free tickets to the Dollar General 300. With a receipt from select North Carolina and South Carolina Dollar General stores dated Sept. 1 through Oct. 10, 2009, customers who purchase two tickets to the NASCAR Banking 500 only from Bank of America, which are available at a special price of $40 each, will receive two free tickets to the Dollar General 300.
