Prior to the game, fans are encouraged to participate in the annual Titans Foundation Coat Drive. New and used coats can be dropped off at one of several collection sites around LP Field. The donated coats subsequently will be delivered to Middle Tennessee non-profit agencies.

THE BROADCAST

This Sunday’s game will be televised regionally on FOX, including Nashville affiliate WZTV FOX-17. Sam Rosen will handle play-by-play duties, while Tim Ryan will provide color commentary.

The Titans Radio Network, including Nashville flagship 103.3-WKDF, will broadcast the game across the Mid-South with the “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith, color commentator Frank Wycheck, sideline reporter Cody Allison and gameday host Larry Stone.

The Cardinals are the last remaining NFL team to play a game at LP Field, which opened in 1999. The Titans will play the Cardinals for only the ninth time in the regular season and for the first time outside of Arizona since 1994. The Cardinals lead the all-time series 5-3.

The Titans have had success in playing teams making their initial appearance at LP Field, building a 23-7 record (.767) in those games. That includes most recently a 30-17 win in 2008 against the Minnesota Vikings.

LAST WEEK

The Titans defeated Houston last week on Monday Night Football by a score of 20-17. Rob Bironas made field goals of 50 and 53 yards, the latter with 47 seconds remaining in the game to capture the win.

Quarterback Vince Young has won four consecutive games as a starter since being inserted into the lineup after the team’s 0-6 start, and he has eight consecutive regular season wins dating back to 2007.

Meanwhile, running back Chris Johnson posted his fifth consecutive 100-yard performance, rushing for 151 yards on 29 carries. Johnson leads the NFL with 1,242 rushing yards and 1,504 yards from scrimmage in 2009.

THE CARDINALS

On the road last week against the St. Louis Rams, the Cardinals used two touchdown passes by Kurt Warner and 183 total rushing yards en route to a 21-13 victory. However, Warner, who has completed 20 touchdown passes this season and has a 94.4 passer rating, was knocked out of the game late in the first half. Matt Leinart, the Cardinals’ first-round pick out of USC in 2006, entered in relief and passed for 74 yards and no interceptions.

The Cardinals’ trio of talented receivers includes Larry Fitzgerald (71 receptions for 792 yards and a league-high nine touchdowns), Anquan Boldin (51 for 612 yards and two touchdowns) and Steve Breaston (39 for 545 yards and three touchdowns).
