More than 100 players participated in this year’s City vs. County Youth Basketball Challenge and Knox County teams won three of the five championships.

“We have nearly 300 teams in our program, and I’m sure the city has just as many,” said Doug Bataille, Senior Director of Parks and Recreation for Knox County. “Having a season ending tournament really gives the kids bragging rights for the entire community.”
