NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on contracts with rookie linebacker Rennie Curran and free agent tight end Sean Ryan.

The Titans selected Curran out of Georgia with their second third-round selection (97th overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft. The Snellville, Ga., native played in 37 games with 30 starts at outside linebacker in three seasons at Georgia. He left the Bulldogs ranked 16th in school history with 298 career tackles, and he was the 10th player in school history to lead the team in tackles more than once in a career.

With 115 tackles as a sophomore and 130 stops as a junior, he became the first Bulldog since 1996-97 to record back-to-back 100-plus tackle seasons. He added 6.5 sacks, 24 stops for losses, 34 quarterback pressures, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his career. Last season as a junior, he was a finalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award and was named first-team All-SEC by Associated Press and the SEC coaches.

The Titans now have agreed to terms with six (Curran, Verner, Smith, Rolle, Mariani and Howard) of their nine 2010 draft picks.

Ryan, a seventh-year veteran, has appeared in 53 career games with 15 starts and has posted 26 receptions for 240 yards and two touchdowns with six different teams. The six-foot-five-inch, 260- pound tight end spent the 2009 campaign with the Kansas City Chiefs, appearing in 10 games with eight starts while posting career-highs with 14 receptions, 135 receiving yards and two touchdown catches. The Buffalo, N.Y., native was originally selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round (144th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft and spent his first two seasons (2004-05) with the club. Ryan has also played for the N.Y. Jets (2006-07), Miami Dolphins (2008), New Orleans Saints (2008) and San Francisco 49ers (2008).
