The bank has grown to more than $1 billion in total assets and with this growth comes more regulatory complexities and requirements.  Mr. Verble and the Board of Directors believe that making this transition will allow Verble to focus on the strategic direction of the bank as well as providing more availability to meet with customers.  Holliman will also be involved in these areas while taking on a larger role in other operational areas of the bank.

The bank has also promoted Anthony Ray to Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President.  Ray has served as Controller of the bank since 2015.  Ray is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting.  He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified in Risk Management Assurance.  He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and Institute of Internal Auditors.

The Board believes these promotions will help the bank continue to grow and serve the community by providing exceptional service throughout the bank’s extensive branch network as well as online and mobile banking channels.
