Elevate Your Child’s Summer Break – Educational Resources Abound at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge

Many parents and caregivers are looking for fun and educational ways to keep their kids engaged during summer break. They will not want to miss all that WonderWorks Pigeon Forge offers throughout the summer months. WonderWorks’ educational exhibits are designed to be fun, keep guests active, and create lasting memories for all participants. Whether planning to attend with immediate family or a larger group, WonderWorks Pigeon Forge offers two floors filled with “edu-tainment” to explore, engage, and enjoy.

“Just because school is ending doesn’t mean the learning has to stop!” said Melanie Benson, education sales manager at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge. “Families can help their students avoid the dreaded ‘summer slide’ by planning a visit to us at WonderWorks. There’s something new for everyone to learn inside.”

With over 100 interactive exhibits for guests to engage in, some activities will interest everyone. There are six Wonder Zones to explore inside the upside-down house, including areas focusing on extreme weather, physical challenges, space discovery, light and sound, imagination, and illusion art, which also features a display of local youth art pieces. Additional thrilling activities include the indoor ropes course, 4D XD Motion Theater, and laser tag arena.

The fun doesn’t have to stop there, because families can take home educational, interactive souvenirs from the gift shop to keep learning on their own time. Guests can also download Professor Wonder’s printable activity sheets from home, learning about different science-related topics in a fun way. Everything offered at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge is rooted in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM), which provides young learners with hands-on experiences in the topics they are learning about in the classroom.

“Whether you’re hoping to keep your kids active, expose them to STEM, or just find a new go-to for family outings, WonderWorks is the place to be! It’s going to be a great summer here in the upside-down house,” said Joe Baumgartner, general manager at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge.
