Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM)

Junior Appalachian Musicians, or JAM, was born more than 20 years ago in Alleghany County, North Carolina, and has expanded to reach more than 50 communities in TN, VA, NC, SC, and KY. JAM is preserving Appalachian music through easily accessible after-school traditional old-time and bluegrass music programs for kids. The first session in Sevierville, TN will begin Monday, March 27 from 6-8 pm at Zion Baptist Church. Every Monday until May 22, students will learn how to play the banjo, fiddle, and/or guitar.

Cost: $15/day (9 days)
