The Sevierville Police Department celebrated the retirement of one of it’s most beloved officer’s. K-9 officer Blitz was honored for his service at 10 and a half years old. Blitz has dedicated his career to the folks of Sevierville since 2014. His human, Officer Caleb Brien, will remain with the department while Blitz enjoys his retirement at home with his family. His services will be missed and equally hard to replace as he he has dedicated his life to serving his community. Blitz did his job exceptionally well and he celebrated at his retirement party with a cake and games of fetch with his family and friends. Congratulations Blitz. Well done.
