Baron Mayes of The Thomas Group receives the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce “Chamber Friend of the Year” award.
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Membership Breakfast was held this morning at the Sevierville Convention Center. The program began with a prayer from Kevin Koester, followed by a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem by the Smoky Mountain Opry.
Bryan Atchley, Mayor of Sevierville then welcomed everyone and shared the comical story of how the Membership Breakfast has been postponed from it’s original date because of snow and treacherous road conditions.
Jim McGill, the Sevierville Chamber Membership Coordinator then recognized all of the sponsors for the event. He then gave the podium to Brenda MCroskey, Sevierville Chamber Chief Executive Officer, to welcome our special speaker Dale Smith Thomas who shared wonderful motivational insights on making the next 12 months our best year ever.
Then all of us at The Thomas Group were delighted when Travis Bradley, Membership Committee Chairman, announced that our very own Baron Mayes had won the Chamber Friend of the Year Award! We’re very proud of Baron and all of his hard work.
